About the Founder

Bill Armendariz, Founder & Managing Partner of Armchair Management LLC, brings more than four decades of hands-on experience in real estate ownership, investment, property management, rehabilitation, and development.

Bill purchased his first investment property at age 20 and has spent 43 years as a property owner and 48 years managing rental properties and construction rehabilitation projects. Throughout his career, he has acquired, repositioned, rehabilitated, managed, and divested residential and commercial properties, with a focus on creating value and transitioning investments to sustainable positive cash flow.

His real estate expertise is complemented by 37 years of corporate management and business leadership experience, including responsibility for multi-million-dollar operations, financial performance, asset management, sales, budgeting, construction, site selection, and commercial real estate negotiations. He managed a $30 million revenue business with responsibility for $70 million in assets, overseeing operations across 28 commercial retail locations in six states.

As a Director of Strategic Accounts Business Development, Bill and his team managed a $155 million portfolio while consistently delivering year-over-year growth above target. As Global Key Account Executive Bill led strategic business development expansion across Mexico, Canada, and international markets.

Prior to and alongside his business career, Bill served 11 years in law enforcement as an OPOTA certified Peace Officer, advancing to the rank of Sergeant in a municipality police department, additionally as a Park Ranger and then serving as a Special Deputy Sheriff, all in the State of Ohio. This experience further shaped the leadership, accountability, integrity, and disciplined approach that he brings to his business and real estate endeavors.

This combination of real estate ownership, corporate leadership, financial and operational management, and public service provides Armchair Management’s investors with a practical, disciplined, and results-oriented approach to identifying opportunities, managing risk, creating value, and building diversified real estate portfolios.

Bill is a graduate of Xavier University, earning a Bachelor of Liberal Arts and Sciences in Liberal Studies, Cum Laude. Armchair Management LLC is a minority-owned business and a member of the Illinois Hispanic Chamber of Commerce.
